Introduction to
Business Sponsorship and Advertising Programs
With the Springfield Civic Association
The Springfield Civic Association represents over 2,400 homes and 800 apartments in the central Springfield Area. Membership, sponsorship, advertising, and underwriting with the association have no boundaries but every individual or business is encouraged to join or sponsor if one works or a business establishment is within the geographic area of Central Springfield, which encompasses: west of I-95; north of Old Keene Mill Road (SR 644); south of I-495 (Beltway); and east of the Accotink Creek stream valley. Membership dues for businesses (profit or non-profit) are $50.00 per year.
Sponsorships/underwritings are determined by the package selected from various options and must be paid in advance annually, by event or activity, or by mutually agreed-upon financial support, volunteer, in-kind services, material or product donation or other. Board and sponsor/underwriter meetings are held quarterly. According to your e-mail inquiry, a representative of the association will respond appropriately. It is the association’s desire to speak and meet with potential sponsors/advertisers to explain the various options available and formalize the agreement if satisfactory to both parties.
